Florida After participating in an initial round of IDTA, the State of Florida was one of four states selected in Round 5 to receive specialized TA services to improve their Child and Family Service Review outcomes. Building on the accomplishments of the initial IDTA, the State strengthened collaboration across multiple initiatives to improve outcomes for children and families served by multiple systems.       National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare, 2020

      This document provides an overview of the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare’s (NCSACW) Brief Focused Technical Assistance (BFTA) program. Available to states, communities, and tribes, BFTA supports sites’ development and implementation of collaborative, cross-system strategies to improve outcomes for infants affected by prenatal substance exposure and their families and caregivers.
